The Duchess of Cambridge’s brother James Middleton recently got engaged and it seems that he borrowed a little inspiration from his big sister when it came to the engagement ring.
A picture that James and his new fiancé Alizee Thevenet posted on Instagram shows that he proposed with a large blue stone that shares a striking and very similar resemblance to the special sapphire stone that Prince William gave Kate back in 2011, originally belonging to Princess Diana.
James picked a stunning white gold band that features 14 solitaire diamonds circling 12-carat oval Ceylon sapphire.
James appeared to have popped the question while they were spending time out in England’s Lake District and he happily shared the news on social media.
“She said OUI” he wrote on his post, a selfie of the couple both beaming with a smile from ear to ear!
Congratulations to the happy couple and we cannot wait for the wedding!
