FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wedded Wonderland brings together Sydney's newly engaged at The Wedded Salon, offering an intimate first taste of what's coming to Wedded World Melbourne.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - 17 September 2026: Last night, 50+ newly engaged brides gathered at Aambra in Rose Bay, Sydney, for The Wedded Salon, an invitation-only evening created by Wedded Wonderland to give brides something surprisingly difficult to find during the wedding-planning journey: a room entirely dedicated to them.
No judgement. No wedding-talk fatigue. No one telling them they've discussed the dress enough.
As one bride perfectly captured the spirit of the evening: "I could talk about my wedding all night and no one cared." And that was precisely the point.
The Wedded Salon brought together an intimate community of brides alongside 14 leading voices across fashion, fine jewellery, beauty, hair, wedding planning, styling, interiors, wellness and Wedded Concierge for an open conversation about the realities, decisions and possibilities that come with planning a modern wedding.
The 50+ guests included high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth newly engaged women planning celebrations across three distinct journeys: local weddings, local destination weddings and international destination weddings, spanning everything from Sydney celebrations to multi-day weddings across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean.
The evening reflected Wedded Wonderland's increasingly global approach to weddings and celebrations:
ONE WORLD. INFINITE CELEBRATIONS.
14 VOICES. EVERY PART OF THE WEDDING JOURNEY.
Rather than a conventional panel where guests simply listened, The Wedded Salon was designed as a conversation.
The evening's experts included:
Panel 1
Kathryn Eisman, Fashion Authority & Founder, High Heel Jungle
A two-time Emmy-nominated television journalist and founder of High Heel Jungle, bringing a perspective on the intersection of fashion and psychology, how what a bride wears shapes identity, self-expression and the way she moves through her own wedding day.
Domenic Pelli, Dompelli Hair
One of Australia's most recognised hairstylists, celebrated for a signature style that blends polished technique with modern glamour, speaking to bridal beauty, preparation and creating a wedding-day look that still feels unmistakably like the bride herself.
Tannia Tiropanis, Makeup Artist
A bridal and event makeup specialist with over two decades of experience across editorial, campaign and fashion week artistry, bringing a beauty perspective shaped by her years on Napoleon Perdis' Global Makeup Artistry Team.
Heather Foord, Women's Health Expert & Sexologist
Founder of Core Restore Co and a clinical sexologist, bringing a wellness perspective on the parts of the wedding journey, and womanhood, that rarely get spoken about openly.
Panel 2
Mary Ronis, Event Designer & Stylist
With over two decades in the events industry and a client list spanning celebrities and high-profile private and corporate names, bringing a signature approach that draws out a space's existing character rather than imposing on it.
Ananya Chawla, Wedded Concierge
Bringing a global perspective on destination weddings, honeymoons and celebration travel, helping couples turn inspiration into an itinerary they can actually book.
Jana Elhassan, Wedded Concierge
A luxury travel advisor bringing a global perspective on destination weddings, honeymoons and celebration travel, helping couples turn inspiration into an itinerary that feels entirely their own.
Paul Papadopoulos, Founder of DS17
The creative mind behind the interiors of Aambra, discussing the relationship between space, design, atmosphere and how considered environments shape the way a celebration feels.
Panel 3
Steven Khalil, Fashion Designer
One of Australia's most recognised bridal and couture designers, bringing the perspective of fashion, craftsmanship and the relationship between a bride and the gown she chooses to wear.
Georgie Karloci, Founder, After The Rock
Offering the perspective brides rarely hear enough about: what happens financially after the engagement ring, and how couples can approach the decisions surrounding weddings, money and their future together.
Diane Khoury, Luxury Wedding & Event Planner
The creative force behind DK Events, bringing the perspective of luxury celebrations, planning and the details required to transform a vision into an extraordinary guest experience.
Shayben Moussa, Founder, Siempre Weddings
Founder and lead photographer of the Sydney-based studio, bringing a documentary approach to wedding photography that favours real, unposed emotion over staged moments.
Michael Anichtomatis, Country Head of Chaumet
Representing the Parisian fine jewellery Maison, bringing a perspective on jewellery, heritage and the pieces that become part of a couple's story well beyond the wedding day.
Together, the 14 voices weren't there to dictate what a wedding should look like. They were there to answer the questions brides actually wanted to ask.
From the moment guests arrived, The Wedded Salon was designed to be experienced.
Brides moved through live stations on arrival, with music from CARDIS violin, a DJ setting the soundtrack for the evening and a series of interactive moments created to inspire the senses.
Guests experienced live cake artistry, a Dessert Station by Strawberries and Co, curated gifting, a dedicated content corner and an interactive phone booth capturing messages and memories from the night.
The gifting experience extended beyond a traditional gift bag, introducing brides to brands, products and discoveries selected specifically for the newly engaged audience.
Every touchpoint was intentional: something to taste, hear, discover, photograph, talk about or take home. And it provided Sydney brides with a preview of the much larger world Wedded Wonderland is building next.
The evening offered brides a taste of what is coming to Wedded World Melbourne at 1 Hotel Melbourne on 7–8 November 2026, where The Wedded Salon will take centre stage, quite literally, as the main stage of the event.
Where The Wedded Salon is intimate and conversational, Wedded World takes that same philosophy and expands it into an immersive two-day wedding experience spanning fashion, beauty, wellness, destinations, venues, travel, honeymoons, styling, entertainment and celebrations. The Wedded Salon becomes the heartbeat of it all, the same open, conversational format brides experienced in Sydney, now brought to life on a bigger stage for a bigger audience.
Couples will be able to discover, experience and book elements of their wedding in one place, with access to exclusive Wedded World offers, experiences and Wedded Concierge.
The connection between the two concepts is deliberate. The Wedded Salon creates the conversation. As the main stage of Wedded World Melbourne, it now brings that conversation to life in front of the entire event. Wedded Concierge helps couples book it.
At its heart, The Wedded Salon exists because being newly engaged is one of life's most exciting chapters, but it can also be one of its most overwhelming.
Brides are suddenly expected to understand venues, gowns, beauty, jewellery, budgets, guest lists, travel, honeymoons, wellness, styling and dozens of decisions they may never have had to make before.
The Salon gives them access to both the people who understand those decisions and, equally importantly, other women going through exactly the same thing.
It is a place to ask the question you thought was silly. Compare notes. Swap recommendations. Talk about the dress again. And yes, talk about your wedding all night.
The Sydney event forms part of Wedded Wonderland's broader vision for The Wedded Salon, with the intimate format set to extend into other global cities, UAE, Singapore, London and New York.
Because wherever and however a couple chooses to celebrate, the philosophy remains the same:
ONE WORLD. INFINITE CELEBRATIONS.
