From Paris with love! 💕 This week on the website we featured the absolutely stunning wedding of Soseh and Grant, and we’re obsessed. Can we firstly talk about her dress?! Four weeks out the beautiful bride still didn’t have a dress so she found a dressmaker online to make her one with just two fittings. “I couldn’t imagine myself wearing a white dress. One thing’s for sure – Bali has no shortage of photo ops! 👇👇👇⁣ ⁣ When we asked Celeste what her favourite photo from her Bali wedding was, she had no hesitation in choosing this one of the epically grand front door of The Pala at Pandawa Cliff Estate.😍😍⁣ ⁣ “We chose Alma photography to capture our wedding day and he was brilliant. Our favourite shot was this one, as it captures the stunning colours of one of the beautiful doors at the villa.”⁣ ⁣ But the photo ops at Pandawa Cliff Estate and it’s amazing villas and location don’t end there. We asked Michelle Williams who was Celeste’s lead coordinator from Global Weddings Bali team about the process and some of the other spots.⁣ ⁣ “Once the congratulations and family photos are done we need to get the bridal party out fairly quickly so as not to lose too much light. The photo tour around the villa is always a lot of fun with much laughter and a few cocktails following them around!”⁣ ⁣ “The grand door of The Pala is beautiful for all bridal couple and party photos, but there are so many amazing photo opportunities within the Pandawa cliff estate. My favourite is the White Balinese gateway which is called Angkul Angkul or Chandi. I feel it’s always a nice touch to have a little tradition of Bali in your photos. Introducing Villa Rose…😍😍😍⁣ ⁣ Celeste and Regan’s reception was held in Villa Rose, which is right next door to the Villa Pala where they had their amazing secret garden style, amphitheatre ceremony.⁣ ⁣ Guests enter through a gate which is kept closed until they are ready to be seated – this way no one can see the reception set up before the ceremony, which always leads to a memorable “wow” moment that Celeste made note of when Hayley had a chance to talk to her recently.⁣ ⁣ Can you tell us what you loved about the reception venue and how you felt walking in?⁣ ⁣ “The reception was set up beautifully! Walking into our reception was one of my favourite moments of the entire day. Having all the people we love, standing and cheering for us under the stars in a beautiful setting over a cliff view was an incredible feeling. The white sands of Pandawa beach🌴⁣video at end! 📽⁣ ⁣⁣ Once the photo session at the villa is taken care of, we make the short trip down to these incredible white sands for the next photo opportunity. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ One of the best things about a wedding in Bali is that there are so many of these amazing photo opps. Ceremony on a cliff top followed by the always fun beach shoot gives us the best of both worlds. The Bridal party always enjoys the beach shoot and it sets a great tone for the party that’s about to start!🍾⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We asked our gorgeous bride, Celeste, to go a little bit deeper on why else Bali is an amazing destination wedding location.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Why did you love the idea of a destination wedding?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ “Both our families are spread out across Australia and New Zealand so we couldn’t think of a better excuse to bring everybody together for not just a wedding but a bonus holiday while we’re there.”⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Why Bali? You won’t regret it.
