It’s Wedding season, time for formals and spring racing and Christmas and New Year’s Eve is just around the corner. During this time of year, every girl faces the same dilemma – what do I wear?

To help you navigate the fickle world of spring/summer fashion, Wedded Wonderland spoke to Channel 10’s morning show, Studio 10 to bring you all the latest trends. Consider your party season wardrobe problems solved!
1. Three-Dimensional Florals
Thick, heavy embellished embroidery is being seen on red carpets across the world and we can now access this trend ourselves! Brides are juxtaposing the heaviness of the 3D floral embroidery with softer fabrics like tulle and silk to create a romantic, but high-fashion look.

2. Straps are Back
This season, we’re encouraging Brides to think outside the box and opt for Bridesmaid dresses with straps and halters. Not only are strappy dresses much more on-trend than their strapless counterparts, but they’re more flattering (especially for girls with a bigger bust) and much easier to dance in!

3. The Statement
‘Classic and simple, but with an unexpected touch’ is the key to pulling off this trend. Look for gowns in a monochromatic palette but with a statement feature, like an oversized chic bow!

4. Taking the Plunge
The low-cut neckline has been in-vogue for the last few seasons, and Fairies, this trend is going nowhere! A plunging neckline is flattering and can be as risqué, or as modest as you like.

5. Pantone Colours
They were named as the ‘it-girl’ colours of 2016 by Pantone and we’re now seeing rose quartz and serenity seeping into race and formal wear. These hues work perfectly for spring Bridesmaids, as they’re both soft and romantic, but can still pack a powerful colour punch!
