Steven Khalil Bride Mary was the picture perfect Bride in a dreamy mermaid gown, with the most elaborate tulle skirt.
“Seeing my dress hanging from the window, I couldn’t help but stare at it all night long. I couldn’t wait for the morning to put it on and blow Michael’s mind away!” Mary told Wedded Wonderland.
The morning of the Wedding was not as smooth-sailing as they had hoped with Mary struggling to fit her dress into the vintage car that had arrived to take her to church!
“As I was trying to get into the car, we all came to the realisation that my dress was too big for the car! I literally couldn’t fit into that car! We tried everything and after failing so many times, we couldn’t help but just laugh! People from the hotel and guests were standing around taking photos and watching this predicament unravel. I honestly thought “I need to walk to the church” I had no other option…until my mother came up with the ingenious idea of getting me to throw my body as far back as possible lying head down on the back seat whilst everyone did the rest. I still don’t know how, but I managed to get into that car.” Hilarious – We’re glad she made it to church without ruining her dream gown!
“Getting out of the car was another funny part to the day but let’s just say all that worry disappeared when I saw Michael see me. That moment when we first locked eyes, was one of the best moments of the day.”
Fast-forward to the reception, where the couple had their favourite songs play as they made their grand entrance into the room complete with drummers, fireworks and a fire blower, with the entire room on their feet ready to dance the night away.
“The exhilaration and the awe in everyone’s eyes around us was the most incredible feeling we could have!”
