Sefunmi was a young doctor who was introduced to Olamide by her aunty. From the day she met him she knew she wanted to date him. Dating led to falling in love which eventually led to ‘I do.’
Olamide told Wedded Wonderland, “It was the best day of my life”. The ceremony was held at the gorgeous St George’s Cathedral in Cape Town where the couple had all their nearest and dearest around them. “It was a very emotional ceremony for me as I felt I was marrying my best friend at last.”
The reception was held at the gorgeous Ashanti vineyard. The bride described it as a “breathtaking place, with mountains as a backdrop and the most beautiful and serene lake nearby.” The Ashanti vineyard was a gorgeous site with antique fine china and gorgeous flowers hanging from the ceiling. “The reception hall was stunning and we saw all ideas, that we’d been discussing for months come to life. We had a ball!!. The food was great, the service was second to none, the music was perfect and we danced the night away,” the newlyweds told Wedded.
The best part of the night for the Bride was, “when my husband and I danced into the reception as man and wife. The atmosphere was alive with love and excitement, the music was top notch and my best friend was by my side.”
