Devina and Andy’s love story will truly melt your heart. These high school sweet hearts met at school, passing notes to each other during class.
Andy knew Devina was the one and popped the big question on their anniversary at a Steakhouse in West Hollywood. When the waiter surprised her with wine and two bouquet of roses, she turned around and saw Andy go down on one knee to pull out the ring box. Looking back, she is still amazed by this incredible surprise and well-planned proposal Andy pulled off.
The couple decided to go with a romantic and classic theme, that will remain timeless throughout the ages. They had an elegant colour palette with gentle tones of pink, beige, white and gold. The couple also symbolically chose to tie the knot at the same venue where they had their high school formal almost 10 years ago!
This gorgeous wedding is what every fairy tale is made of, from the big white ball gown adorned with pearls, crystals, hand embellishments and tulle, a grand ballroom, tiara, a traditional tea ceremony, two bridal gowns, three pairs of bridal shoes and of course the man of her dreams!
“My wedding gown was a made-to-order dress by a family designer from my hometown, Karma Gyalpo, that my family has worked with for quite a while. Executing an out-of-country process was definitely not easy. There was never a dress fitting session for me. Everything was done through phone chat and video, from providing him my size measurement to choosing the fabric, from sharing the very first sketch to the final result, my designer would update me the progress by sending images and videos periodically” explains Devina.
When asked what they love most about each other. The couple found it hard to limit the list! But the one thing that Andy said about Devina, truly melted out hearts. “From the very first time I saw her until now, there is no doubt that she’s my greatest happiness. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t because of her,” he comments.
Congratulations Devina and Andy!
