Sarah and Damien’s unique winter warehouse Wedding in the heart of Melbourne was 27 years in the making! This stunning couple met 27 years ago in primary school, and were friends before they became lovers. Their Wedding was all about mixing traditional and non-traditional elements for one unique affair.
Damien and Sarah wanted to spend as much of their Special Day together as possible. So they woke up together, invited their dearest friends around, laughed and ate for the first half of the day, then got dressed separately and had their memorable ‘first look’ before the church ceremony.
“We rocked up to the church together and those precious moments of silence in the car, hand in hand, reflecting on the promise we were about to make to each other, really were so special and so ‘us’ – a little bit of tradition mixed with non-traditional.”
With Bride Sarah as co-owner of The Style Co, Melbourne’s leading styling & design studio, the pressure was definitely on to deliver an exceptional aesthetic, and the team certainly did not fail to impress! Bright pops of burgundy, blushes and a tonne of greenery set the scene for an incredible party.
“We went through the entire deign process like ordinary clients – what the team delivered was mind-blowing, everything from the custom feature wall which was a life size recreation of the smoke bomb on our invitation right through to the over-sized garden that our band were playing in and floral installation above the bar was epic!”
