The wedding day of Tony and Lidia began with the rise of the sun and the chirping birds on a Sunday morning. As both the bride and groom come from Macedonian backgrounds rich with culture and traditions, a full morning awaited. Music, food and champagne were the perfect complements to kick start the celebration.
Prior to the church ceremony, butterflies began to flourish with the realisation that they were now becoming husband and wife. The traditionally intricate ceremony highlighted one of the most memorable and heart-warming moments for the couple as they saw each other for the first time. Following the ceremony, Lidia describes her funniest moment – when her shoe broke and was stuck back together by husband Tony with band-aids!
The reception was described by Lidia as a non-stop celebration from the moment they entered. Guests dined with endless amounts of food, drinks and of course dancing that made the atmosphere electric! Guests joined the pair until they could dance no longer and were guaranteed a few sore heads in the morning. Tony and Lidia felt as though they were surrounded by people who genuinely loved and cared for them, making it a crowd to be forever grateful for.
