Coffee, Conversations & Coastal Views: Inside the Wedded Wonderland Creators Lunch at Benny's Cronulla

There's something that happens when you gather the right people in the right room.

Conversations flow freely, ideas spark unexpectedly, and by the time dessert arrives, you've already forgotten you were supposed to be "networking.

That was the palpable energy at the intimate Creators Lunch hosted by Wedded Wonderland and founder Wendy El-Khoury at Benny's Cronulla, a sun-soaked afternoon that brought together a carefully curated circle of wedding and lifestyle creatives for good food, genuine connection, and more than a few lightbulb moments.

A Table Set With Intention

Tucked along the Cronulla waterfront, Benny's isn't just a beautiful setting. It's the kind of place that does the heavy lifting for you: the coastal light, the effortless ambience, the food that arrives looking like it was styled for a shoot (because honestly, it was).

The afternoon was deliberately kept small and intimate. A gathering of around 20 creators and industry professionals, each bringing their own corner of the wedding world to the table.

Beauty and hair artists sat beside event planners. Photographers compared notes with social media strategists. Florals and cakes came up in the same breath as content calendars and couple trends. It was the kind of collaboration that only happens when you stop trying to make it happen.

Gathering of Minds

The afternoon brought together a beautifully curated mix of talent, each representing a different thread of the wedding world, and together, the full picture.

The beauty brigade showed up in full force: Macy Mae of Macy Mae Hair, Hayley Mciver of Hayley Mciver Makeup, Monica Gonzales of Monica Gonzales Makeup Artist, and Lilian Elkhouri of Tanning Angel, the dream team responsible for making every bride feel like the best version of herself.

On the planning and styling side, Mary Ronis of Mary Ronis Events, Rima Hareb of Mrs H Events, and Clare McCrohon of Hope and Page brought the kind of expertise that turns a beautiful venue into an unforgettable day.

Florals, cakes and the finishing touches were well represented too. Melissa Dcruz of Melissadcruzfloral and Adam Sabbough of Cakes by Adam, whose work proves that the details are never just details.

Behind the lens, Rachel and Dean of Inlighten Photography were there to capture it all.

And the storytellers and social minds who bring the wedding world to life online: Samantha Marshall of Socially Sam, Danielle Sanbar of Sanbar Socials, Alanah Bekiaris and Lilabelle of Behind The Scenes Socials, Jasmine Sokarno of Montage Socials, Milia Azar of SVN Socials, Kristine Satorre of The Modern Brides BFF, and Melanie and Heidi of She is Everli.

Plus Josh Vei of By Josh, Matthew Golding of By Magnolia, and Brittany Youssif, rounding out a room that truly knows how to tell a story.

More Than Just Lunch

Between the fruit arrangements, the exquisite meals, and the stunning tablescapes, the afternoon held space for something that the industry often moves too fast for: real conversation. What's working, what couples are asking for, where things are heading. The kind of talk that only happens when you're not presenting a deck or pitching a package.

And then there was the venue itself, naturally making its elevated yet relaxed case without needing to say too much.

The lunch came at the perfect moment. A shared excitement among partners, a renewed appreciation for the relationships already built, and a gorgeous coastal afternoon that reminded everyone exactly why they love this industry, and more importantly, the hardworking people in it.
