Kira Kirby’s Boston Public Library Wedding Was Made for Jewelry Lovers

Kira Kirby’s Boston Public Library Wedding Was Made for Jewelry Lovers

Jewelry influencer Kira Kirby married at the Boston Public Library in a custom Salma Osman gown, pairing her ethereal bridal look with a show-stopping Effy high jewelry collection and her distinctive yellow diamond engagement ring.

There are library weddings, and then there is Kira Kirby’s version of one.

The jewelry influencer, known for her sharp eye for diamonds and her unapologetically maximal approach to fine jewelry, has officially tied the knot at the Boston Public Library. And while the venue already provides plenty of grandeur, Kirby made sure her wedding day had another kind of main character: the jewelry.

Set against the Boston Public Library’s marble interiors, sweeping staircases and historic architecture, Kirby’s wedding look was romantic without feeling overly traditional.

If you have ever watched one of Kirby’s jewelry videos, this was probably the wedding look you expected her to pull off.

A Wedding Inside One of Boston’s Most Beautiful Libraries

The Boston Public Library made for a rather spectacular backdrop.

Instead of choosing a conventional ballroom or garden setting, Kirby and her husband celebrated among monumental marble staircases, ornate architectural details, sculptural lions and warm golden stone. The result was a wedding that felt almost cinematic, but without needing to overdecorate what was already there.

In the photographs, the couple can be seen moving through the library’s grand interiors, with the architecture doing much of the visual heavy lifting. The warm tones of the space also gave the white and blush tones of Kirby’s bridal look a softer, almost old-world quality.

It is the kind of venue that makes you reconsider the idea that a wedding has to take place somewhere traditionally "wedding-like." Apparently, sometimes all you need is a very good library and an even better dress.

The Custom Salma Osman Gown Was All About Movement

For her wedding dress, Kirby turned to designer Salma Osman for a custom creation designed specifically around softness and movement.

Osman described Kirby as a "dream canvas," envisioning something ethereal and effortless while still making a statement. The result was a gown covered in thousands of crystals hand-beaded onto sheer tulle, with delicate feather flowers in pink and purple woven throughout as a subtle nod to Kirby’s love of purple.

The bodice featured hand-stitched French lace, while a sheer, crystal-covered cape extended into gloves, creating a barely-there effect as Kirby moved through the library.

The train was particularly striking, with the soft pink and purple feather details adding a hint of colour beneath the otherwise romantic white look.

Against the Boston Public Library’s imposing interiors, the dress offered a lighter contrast. It floated rather than competed with the architecture.

And Then Came the Jewelry

Of course, this is Kira Kirby we are talking about.

For someone whose online presence revolves around fine jewelry, the wedding-day jewels were never going to be an afterthought. Kirby worked with Effy Jewelry to create a bridal jewelry lineup that was anything but understated.

For her necklace, she chose a high jewelry design featuring an Art Deco-inspired scalloped detail that echoed the scalloped neckline of her gown. The piece features a mix of round-cut, baguette and pear-shaped diamonds, giving the necklace plenty of dimension without distracting from the dress.

In a video shared while getting ready for her wedding, Kirby explained that the matching neckline was exactly what drew her to the necklace.

"I love it so much because it has this, like, almost Art Deco scallop detail, which mirrors the scalloping of the neckline of my wedding dress," she said.

Then came the earrings. Kirby selected five-carat round brilliant diamond studs, because apparently regular wedding earrings were never really an option.

For her wrist, she chose an east-west tennis bracelet featuring 14.5 carats of natural emerald-cut diamonds. She also pointed out the precision of the matching stones and craftsmanship, calling it her dream bracelet.

And because every bride needs something blue, Kirby added a five-carat sapphire ring surrounded by a halo of natural diamonds. The style immediately reminded her of Princess Diana’s famous sapphire ring.

"That's just a Princess Diana ring," she said in her video.

Honestly, we see the vision.

Her Engagement Ring Deserves Its Own Close-Up

Even with all those diamonds competing for attention, Kirby’s engagement ring remained an important part of the look.

The ring features an oval-cut yellow diamond with a soft golden hue, set on a sculptural yellow gold band that loops beneath the stone in a distinctive pretzel-like shape. Sections of the band are accented with pavé white diamonds, creating contrast against the warm gold.

But the most interesting details are tucked into the design.

Roman numerals, symbols and engraved motifs are incorporated into the band, giving the ring a personal, almost coded quality. It was designed by Sarah Ysabel Narici, founder of New York jewelry label DYNE, whose work combines historical references with futuristic forms.

In other words, it is not exactly the kind of engagement ring you would lose in a crowd.

A Jewelry Girl’s Wedding, Through and Through

What makes Kirby’s wedding style particularly satisfying is that the jewelry does not feel added on at the end. Every piece has been considered alongside the dress.

The necklace mirrors the neckline. The sapphire introduces something blue. The engagement ring brings its own personal history. Even the oversized diamond studs feel entirely in keeping with Kirby’s approach to jewelry, where bigger, bolder pieces are part of the fun.

And perhaps that is the real takeaway from the wedding. The most memorable bridal looks are not always the ones that follow every traditional rule. Sometimes they are the ones that make perfect sense for the person wearing them.

For Kira Kirby, that meant getting married in one of Boston’s grandest public spaces, wearing a custom gown covered in crystals, and finishing the look with enough diamonds to make the library chandeliers look slightly underdressed.

The Final Sparkle

Kirby’s wedding brought together three things that already feel distinctly hers: an appreciation for beautiful spaces, an eye for fashion and, naturally, a serious love for jewelry.

The Boston Public Library provided the history. Salma Osman brought the softness. Effy brought the diamonds. And Kirby brought the personality that made all of it feel like one cohesive look.
