We’re counting down the days until Channel 10 finally releases WHO will be this year’s Bachelorette and yesterday, the rumourmill was sent into overdrive that controversial star of The Bachelor (season 2), Louise Pillidge is the front-runner.
Louise shot to fame after being renowned as the ‘Stepford wife’ of The Bachelor for her penchant for a red lip, her impeccable manners and her regular baking efforts; however the scandal started when Louise was sent home by Bachelor Blake Garvery who then went on to propose to the winner of the series, Samantha Frost.
After the episode aired to the public, Blake swiftly broke up with Sam and subsequently hooked up with Louise (who was second runner-up). Blake and Louise were together for 18 months and constantly made headlines; they even had their own Woman’s Day break-up photo-shoot (which was seriously awkward)!
Now, Louise has undergone a single-girl makeup, debuting a fresh haircut and colour on Instagram, which has sent the internet into meltdown speculating that it might be in preparation for spending months in front of the camera!
The only other two obvious picks to be this year’s Bachelorette are Lana and Heather – and both are now in a relationship, leaving Louise as the one who’ll probably get her second (third?) chance at true love.
