Fifteen years together is a long time to know someone. It is long enough to grow up together, build careers side by side, survive different versions of yourselves, and quietly collect memories that eventually become a life. So perhaps it makes perfect sense that when Thai stars Yaya Sperbund and Nadech Kugimiya finally married, one wedding simply was not enough to contain the story.
After already saying "I do" during a traditional Thai wedding earlier this year in Khon Kaen, the beloved couple celebrated a second ceremony in Oslo, Norway. And while second weddings can sometimes feel like a continuation, this one felt like an entirely different chapter.
If their Thai ceremony honored heritage and family traditions, Norway felt like romance in its softest and most cinematic form.
Yaya and Nadech are not simply celebrity newlyweds.
For years, the pair have been one of Thailand’s most adored real-life and on-screen couples. Fans watched their chemistry unfold through dramas including Duang Jai Akkanee, Game Rai Game Rak, The Crown Princess, and Nakee 2, long before their relationship became public.
The couple began dating in 2011 and became engaged in 2023.
Fifteen years later, what makes their relationship feel different is that their love story never seems rushed. It feels lived in.
And their Norway celebration carried that same feeling.
Oslo became the backdrop for an intimate destination wedding surrounded by close friends and family, and the atmosphere felt almost dreamlike.
The strongest talking point of the celebration was not extravagant floral installations or over-the-top production.
It was softness.
Everything felt intentionally stripped back, allowing emotions and meaningful details to become the focus.

Yaya looked like she had stepped directly out of a modern fairytale. Wearing a custom lace bridal gown by Louis Vuitton, she embraced understated elegance rather than dramatic excess. The dress featured delicate lace details paired with matching lace sleeves and a romantic veil that moved effortlessly around her.
There was no heavy embellishment competing for attention.

The simplicity did all the work.
Nadech complemented the look with a timeless black-and-white suit complete with a bow tie. Together, they felt polished without feeling overly formal, romantic without trying too hard.
Sometimes the strongest aesthetic decision is knowing when to hold back.
Among all the beautiful details from the wedding, one small element stood out.
The couple personally designed and helped create their own wedding bands.
Instead of selecting rings and simply calling it a day, Yaya and Nadech wanted something that carried more of themselves inside it. They chose to be involved in the process, adding personal meaning to pieces they will wear long after the flowers disappear and the wedding photos are framed.
There is something quietly romantic about that.
Wedding rings often become the smallest items with the biggest emotional weight. The idea of physically pouring pieces of your story into them somehow feels perfectly aligned with the couple's journey.

Among those present were close friends and fellow Thai stars Mark Prin and Kimberley Anne Woltemas, who have remained a significant part of the couple's life.
Kimberley later described the celebration as feeling like stepping into a fairytale, while also reflecting on years of friendship and shared memories.
The ceremony itself was equally emotional.
As the couple exchanged vows in front of family and loved ones, both spoke about years spent growing together and choosing one another through different seasons of life.
The first wedding honored where they came from.
The second felt like a celebration of everything they have become.
Rather than repeating the same day twice, Yaya and Nadech created two entirely different experiences that reflected different parts of their relationship.
And maybe that is the bigger lesson quietly hiding behind all the lace, mountains, and destination wedding magic.
Love stories do not always fit inside a single day.
Sometimes they deserve another chapter.
