Swedish retailer IKEA has announced a new gift registry launch available at US stores (We can’t wait for Aus to launch one!)
Customers can now create wish lists from thousands of items for Weddings, housewarmings or any other special occasion.

‘A gift registry has been on our customers’ wish list for years’, says Ashley Wahl, Ikea gift registry project leader. ‘The new Ikea Gift Registry makes it easy for your loved ones to help you celebrate your special moments, whether it’s your wedding day, a new baby, an exciting move—or just any other reason to shower you with love.’

Of course, you must be a registered Ikea family member!
There are 4 ways to buy from the registry.
Guests can ‘chip in’ any dollar amount toward the total purchase price of a product. If not, you could virtually buy an item and the value is then applied to an Ikea gift card, as opposed to buying the physical product.
The simpler option is to just purchase a registry item online or in store and then send it directly to the Bride-to-be.
