It was set to be the most OTT Wedding of the season, but earlier in the week, Iggy Azalea made the heart-breaking decision to officially end her engagement to 31-year old pro-basketball player, Nick Young.
The Australian-born, US-based ‘Fancy’ rapper called off the Wedding because of Nick’s constant cheating scandals, posting on social media,
“Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him – It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to. I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.”
Since the announcement, it appears as though the split has become even more messy, with Iggy moving all of Nick’s belongings outside to her driveway, including tables, chairs, and frames.
She also arrange for his vintage 1962 blue Chevy Impala to be tower on Monday, a car which Iggy initially gave to Nick as a Christmas gift back in 2014…
Back in March, Nick’s LA Lakers teammate, 20-year old D’Angelo Russell taped Nick talking about a number of women he had been with, including a 19-year old. During the scandal, D’Angelo told media, he regretted the tape.
“I feel as sick as possible, I wish I could make things better right away, but I can’t. I take full blame for recording the video and doing that, but leaking the video wasn’t me, I have no clue how that got out… I’m owning up to it full effect and just taking what comes with it.”
At the time, Nick was unaware that he was being taped.
Despite this taped ‘confession’, Iggy stood by her man, but it seems as though the cheating scandals have gotten too much.
