Helen And Alex’s Chaldean Wedding Was Magical

Helen and Alex’s Chaldean Wedding took place in early April in Melbourne. The couple celebrated a traditional wedding true to their Chaldean culture with a sprinkle of their Melbourne upbringing in Metropolis. We’re so excited to share this with you Fairies… You can just feel the love in the photographs!

The couple met on the eve of Helen’s birthday, at a night club in the Docklands. This was the night that they shared their first kiss! Talk about a great birthday present.

4 years to the day, Alex booked a penthouse a couple of hundred metres from the dock where they first kissed and led Helen to the balcony blind folded. He dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him, at the same location, and same day that they had met. We’re not crying…

The best and most fun moment of the wedding for Helen and Alex was when they entered their reception venue. They entered to beat of middle eastern drummers and danced their way to the centre of the dance floor! Being surrounded by loved ones, the energy was incredible.

They chose Metropolis for their reception, displaying Melbourne’s incredible city in the background. It was a beautiful contrast of their parents’ heritage and Melbourne upbringing.

The day was magical, and reflecting back they wouldn’t change a thing…
