In case you ever needed another surreal peek into how exactly the other half live, put on your crystal-encrusted glasses and enter the sparkly world of Gucci Mane and his new bride, Keyshia Ka’oir, whose $1.7 million wedding will blind you with its extravagance.
After a proposal during an Atlanta Hawks basketball game and a 25-carat diamond engagement ring valued between $3.85 million and $6.37 million, a simple wedding most definitely wouldn’t suffice.
Before the opulent wedding day festivities kicked off, Gucci Mane gifted Ka’oir a Rolls-Royce Wraith during their wedding rehearsals.
Then on October 17th the couple tied the knot in an over-the-top wedding at the Four Seasons in Miami, choosing an all-white theme and dress code for the star-studded guest list.
From the groom’s crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin shoes to the bride’s bejewelled mystery-designer dress, the wedding featured enough diamonds to make the Royal Family blush.
And the pièce de résistance?
A four-tier, 3-metre-tall, $75,000 wedding cake that could only be sliced with a sword (crystal-encrusted, of course).
Created by Edda’s Cake Designs, the one-of-a-kind cake included 8,000 handmade sugar flowers and 2,500 Swarovski crystals dangling beneath each tier. Composed of delicious flavours – red velvet, amaretto, carrot, banana nuts, and Jamaican rum – the cake was created in three days, with the baker providing the sword for Mane herself.
Meanwhile, we’ll continue to indulge in Peter’s Original Ice Cream Party Cake.
