It’s not groundbreaking news that weddings and fashion walk hand-in-hand. As more brides see their wedding day as the perfect opportunity to make a bold fashion statement, the market must constantly evolve, offering fresh, innovative pieces to meet the demands of these style-savvy brides. For editorial stylist and The White Files founder, Ella Zampatti, this is pure gold. The thrill of predicting the next big trends for stunning brides, from the runway to real life, is something we can all get excited about.
The White Files is a dream destination for every bride-to-be or couture enthusiast, offering a treasure trove of inspiration for every style. This is where you’ll find the freshest and most exquisite curation in bridal fashion, handpicked by experts who live and breathe bridal couture every day. They have an uncanny ability to capture femininity with absolute perfection, bringing it straight to your mood board.
Zampatti revealed to our team what’s trending for the 2024/25 bridal season, and it’s all showcased in a gorgeous, summery editorial shot in the breathtaking Perth Hills of Western Australia. Exaggerated silhouettes make a bold entrance and chic drop waist corsets—where tradition gets a stylish twist—still reigning supreme.
“The 2024/2025 bridal season is all about fuller silhouettes with a distinctly feminine and elegant edge. I’m seeing a return to the old, with dramatic ballgowns and cinched-in corsets dominating international bridal fashion weeks. My styling for the reverie workshop drew inspiration from these trends, as well as the awe-inspiring property we were shooting at.”
The venue acts as an important factor when it comes to finding the ideal design, something that should always be considered. “The venue featured classical Greek-inspired architecture, and a French-inspired heritage rose garden, so I knew the looks would have to similarly draw inspiration from classic sources and seamlessly fuse different elements and styles for editorial impact.”
More and more brides are opting for detachable pieces in their look to give the elements of surprise and versatility as they refresh their look throughout the day.

“Nethmi’s look was all about elegant sophistication. Her gown was an exaggerated tulip silhouette handcrafted from the most divine silk by Melbourne-based Van Der Kooij.
Slicked back hair in the style of the season was chosen to show off the subtle curved neckline, accented with layered strands of pearls.”

“Sarah’s look consisted of a structured corset with etched line detailing and an architectural-inspired organza skirt by New Zealand-based Saint Bridal Couture.
This structured Saint Bridal corset bodice embraced Sarah’s body with grace and poise, while dreamy organza gracefully cascaded through the skirt, creating ethereal canopies and arches for an architecturally inspired, contemporary look.
I finished the look with delicate tulle off-the shoulder straps to add movement to the frames and delicately draw together the contrasting fabrics of the look.”
Trends: Corset | Drop Waist | Full Silhouette | Off the Shoulder Neckline
“More and more brides are opting for detachable pieces in their look to give the elements of surprise and versatility as they refresh their look throughout the day. The look I curated for Tahlia celebrated this in a low-fuss high-impact way.
Tahlia stunned in an old worldly silhouette with bold lines by Karen Willis Holmes, complementing the editorial’s aesthetic use of timeless elegance with a refreshing modern edge.
The bow jacket featured a magnificent train that was perfect for the style ceremony, and it was a quick change into dramatic long sleeves featuring a bold voluminous puff for the reception shots.”
