Dannie and Andrew’s special day officially began at 7am, with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony that involved plenty of games and challenges, setting the day to a fun start! After this, the couple served tea to their older family members and in return, they gave their blessings and a gift for the couple to start out their new life together. During this, Dannie wore a red gown, which was a twist on the traditional Chinese gown, adding her own design reflective of her personal style.
Dannie then changed into a classic white gown and the couple headed to their outdoor ceremony, which they described as simple and understated, yet beautiful – just the way they wanted the day to be.
By the time the reception came along, the couple couldn’t believe how fast they day had gone, “We were both running on excitement and adrenaline and thought this is where we could let loose! We had our first dance, which was quite nerve wracking at the beginning, but we completely let it take over and didn’t overthink it. All-in-all, greatest night that we could share with our family and friends.”
