A Stunning Grace Kelly Inspired Bride

Grace Kelly inspired Bride, Christina, was the vision of elegance and fashion in her impeccably embroidered gown. Her vintage wedding with a modern twist was bought together after almost two years of planning and it was an absolute dream! Christina chose hues of burgundy, blush pink and gold to complement the stunning architecture at The University of Sydney where they held their grand wedding. Not wanting to give up her dream of having hanging chandeliers due to venue restrictions, Christina opted to display the chandeliers on the floor and they created a stunning an unique photo opportunity.

Reflecting back on their Special Day it was difficult to choose their favourite moment because it was all so perfect! “The moment I (the bride) arrived to the church and was waiting outside I was extremely nervous to be comforted by our beautiful priest, when I walked down the aisle Sam and I locked eyes, his eyes were full of tears but he had the biggest smile. The most memorable moment was when I stepped up next to him and he grabbed my hand and kissed my forehead, that was the happiest moment of our life – we knew we were about to be husband and wife.”

if there’s one thing Bride Christina would change it would be to stress less in the lead up to the Big Day. “I wish I didn’t stress as much and enjoyed the lead up more, with COVID restrictions constantly changing every day I was severely anxious checking the 11am update. If I could change anything it would have been to relax, have faith and not stress over things you can’t control. No matter what you are there to marry your soul mate, if that’s possible everything else will fall into place.”
