Brooklyn and Nicola got engaged just months after they made their relationship ‘official’. Just two and a half years after they initially began dating, the young lovers walked down the aisle.
But how did Brooklyn and Nicola meet, when did they become engaged, and what were the circumstances of their wedding?

First meetings and budding romance
Brooklyn and Nicola’s relationship was a quick trial by fire in some respects, with the two being brought together in lockdown due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Some could say their relationship survived under situations that would have led many other couples to break up.
While their relationship started in 2019, they first met in 2017. Brooklyn revealed during an Instagram Q&A with fans that they met for the first time at the Coachella music festival in California that year.
When the two stumbled into each other at a party in October 2019, the sparks of romance swiftly erupted. Some might say the romance was rushed because Brooklyn was just out of a nine-month relationship with 24-year-old model Hana Cross, who he also he had a high-profile and very turbulent relationship with.
Blossoming relationship
Following their reconciliation at the October 2019 event, Brooklyn and Nicola’s romance accelerated with date nights at premium celebrity restaurants leading to the pair becoming ‘Instagram Official’ in January 2020.
Only three months later, the world was irrevocably transformed when the Covid-19 virus, prompting Brooklyn to seek refuge with Nicola in New York City. The lockdown seemed to hasten and solidify their connection, as the two plainly fell in love.
Brooklyn returned to the UK in July of that year, much to his mother Victoria’s happiness. But it wasn’t long before Nicola was flying across the Atlantic to be reunited with Brooklyn.
The proposal
Brooklyn announced on Sunday, July 11, 2020, that he had proposed to Nicola two weeks prior, only six months after they had made their relationship official.
He announced his joyful news on Instagram, posting a snapshot of himself kissing Nicola, who was wearing a massive diamond ring worth an estimated £350,000.
The photo was captioned: “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day… I love you baby xx.”
The wedding
On Saturday, April 9, 2022, Brooklyn and Nicola exchanged vows in front of family, friends, and an A-List throng at Nicola’s extremely wealthy family’s magnificent oceanfront mansion in Florida.
In the months leading up to one of the most opulent and star-studded weddings of the year, the bride picked a romantic Valentino couture gown with the aid of her stylist Leslie Fremar.
The couple’s guests flew to Florida for a full weekend of celebrations orchestrated by wedding planner extraordinaire Michelle Rago.
