An Italian Wedding Fused Together With Elegance And Modern Simplicity

On the first night of their holiday to America back in 2017, Luke and Loretta were on the rooftop of their hotel in Los Angeles with the sunset as the perfect backdrop, Luke got down on one knee and popped the question. And of course, Loretta said yes!

The two decided to tie the knot in Melbourne’s Coombe Estate Yarra Valley and said “I Do” underneath a gorgeous cherry blossom arch. As the couple are both from Italian decent, their wedding incorporated traditional and cultural aspects. Their ceremony and reception choice certainly reflected their Italian culture as the couple and their wedding guests were surrounded by the luscious grounds of the Italian Garden of Coombe Estate. The garden was filled with olive, lemon tress and tall green hedges, providing a warm and familiar environment to the couple.

The couple tied in their cultural details with a modern and elegant theme for their wedding. Their choice of delicate floral arrangements fused in perfectly with the black, white and gold colour coordination of their wedding stationery, brightening the room and bringing a sense of romance. Luke and Loretta decided to bring their Mediterranean culture in their bonbonniere which were bottles of extra virgin olive oil with rosemary stems.

Loretta’s choice of bridal gown was a stunning piece from Melbourne Designer Elly Sofocil. The timeless and simple silhouette certainly tied in with the modern and elegant theme of the wedding.

The couple were surrounded with love from their big Italian family and their closest friends, making it such a special and memorable day for all.

Congratulations Loretta and Luke!
