Well, Fairies, the extraordinary Engage!17 Italy has come to an end and we have the breakdown of all the glitz, glamour, and inspiration that came with it. Held at the famous Belmond Hotel Cipriani in picturesque Venice, Italy, this month’s Engage! Summit was particularly exciting as it featured our very own Fairy Godmother, Wendy El Khoury, as the first Australian speaker on the Main Stage!
Bringing together masterminds of the wedding industry from all over the world, the extravagant 3-day event, which ran from the 23rd of October until the 26th, was practically spilling over with talent, inspiration, and expertise.
Presenting to the bridal luxury market from the Main Stage, Wendy used her years of expertise to speak about social media fundamentals and impressed even the most seasoned of guests, with world-renowned party extraordinaire Johnny Roxburgh gushing, “I found you truly inspirational and totally charming.”
With a carefully curated line up of world-class speakers among the 200 attendees, Engage!17 Italy was an eye-catching and educational experience aimed towards the global luxury events industry, with experts from around the world presenting the latest in luxury events, sharing their invaluable experience, and connecting with fellow professionals.
Other than our own fantastic Wendy, the impressive line-up of speakers included internationally-renowned event planner Mindy Weiss, ultimate Party Architect Johnny Roxburgh, celebrity event planner Marcy Blum, celebrity lifestyle and wedding designer Colin Cowie, Carousel Events founder Zainab Alsalih, fashion designer extraordinaire Sabyasachi Mukherjee, television presenter and fashion designer Randy Fenoli, and many more.
In one of the most unbelievable displays of creativity, the Belmond Hotel Cipriani was transformed into a magical wonderland of lights, flowers, acrobats, and dancers for three awe-inspiring days.
