It was a long-awaited moment for the pair, who got engaged two years prior on a magical Christmas day. The breathtaking Villa del Balbianello, located on the Lavedo Peninsula beside Lenno, served as the perfect venue for their romantic and intimate celebration.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Alexandra Jarvis opens up about her decision to forgo traditional wedding expectations and opt for a more intimate and personal celebration. “We wanted a wedding day that truly reflected us and our love story, without any outside pressure or expectations,” she shares.

That’s why the couple chose to escape to Italy for their special day. “Italy has a special place in our hearts. It’s where I told him I loved him, and we’ve always been drawn to its charm and beauty,” Jarvis explains. “Lake Como was the perfect choice for us. The lush greenery, stunning natural beauty, and magical ambiance created the ultimate romantic backdrop for our dream wedding.”

Through their unconventional celebration, Alexandra Jarvis and Sergio Ducoulumber forged a wedding experience that resonated deeply with their hearts and embodied the essence of their unique bond. Against the stunning backdrop of Lake Como, the couple exchanged their heartfelt vows and embarked on a romantic private boat ride to nearby Bellagio.

The newlyweds celebrated their union with an Italian feast, soaking in the beauty of their surroundings and the joy of their special day. After their time in Europe as husband and wife, the couple plans to return to Orange County to celebrate with loved ones. While Jarvis won’t be extending an invitation to all of her Selling the OC castmates, the couple looks forward to sharing their joy with those closest to them.
