The William Inglis Arena was transformed into the couple’s dream of a New York City-inspired Met Gala. New York holds a special place in their hearts as their favorite city. It’s where their love story unfolded, embracing both the chilly winters and the beautiful summers. With a shared love for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it was only natural that they wanted their wedding to reflect their deep connection to New York. They aptly themed their wedding “Met Gala,” capturing the essence of the city they adore.
Nico’s South American heritage holds profound meaning for him, and Emma wanted to honor his family and culture through her attire. Collaborating with J’Aton, they crafted a dress that beautifully incorporated these influences. To top it off, a custom-designed hat created in collaboration with a milliner added a touch of Emma’s personal style, as she often adorns hats.
Wedding planner and stylist, Simon Tayoun, worked his magic with meticulous attention to detail and had room to play in this exceptional ‘hidden gem’ destination venue in Sydney.
