A Fun Modern-Luxe Wedding

What can we say, Fairies – here at Wedded Wonderland we are suckers for adorable love stories! Daniel and Christina met at the tender age of 15, at a local swimming pool. Christina would visit Daniel every afternoon during his McDonalds shifts for her usual soft serve, just so she could line up and chat with him. The pair went on to become High School sweethearts, attending each other’s formals, and the rest is history!

Daniel and Christina’s wedding day included many heart-warming moments, from Daniel tearing up as he watched his bride walk down the aisle, to Christina surprising all of their guests with a choreographed father-daughter dance. Additionally, the couple chose to honour both their families by having two ceremonies; Catholic & Orthodox, and was (literally) drowned in rice when exiting the Orthodox Church. We are particularly in-love with the décor of this reception! The modernity of the dark room was complemented by innumerable candles, creating a romantic ambience for the evening, while shades of gold and green accentuated the surroundings. Intricate and elaborate floral arrangements of greens and whites decorated the tables, and even the cake! Daniel and Christina’s wedding perfectly combined aspects of modernity and elegance, while also creating a space for the couple to party all night long!
