Despite everything planned to perfection by Michelle, her son Xavier’s first birthday party had just one element against it – the weather.

“On the day of setting up, Mother Nature wasn’t very kind to us. We had 28km/h wind whilst setting up that morning, which limited us with the decoration we had planned, like more balloons.”

Despite this, the Mickey Mouse-themed birthday was all worth it just to see the smile on her son’s face.

“We did what we could and everyone still had the best time. Most importantly, Xavier seemed like he had the best time!”
