1 Cultural Appreciation
Start your cultural education as early as possible before the Wedding, that way you’ll be as prepared as you can! Not only will learning about your hubby’s culture give you a real appreciation for it, but you’ll also score some serious brownie points from the in-laws.
2 Agree to Disagree
There’s going to be more than one time that you and your man don’t agree whether it’s due to cultural differences or whether you both just have different ideas on something. Fairies, it’s all about compromise, especially when it’s a cultural difference! Talk it out and try to understand why it’s so important to him and ask yourself how important it is to you.
3 Are You Willing to Move?
You may be in a situation that you or your partner would like to move to another country, so the big question is ‘are you willing to move for love? Travelling to a foreign country comes with a new set of logistics, but on the bright, it means regular holidays back home to come and to see your loved ones!
4. How Will Your Parents React?
This is probably the trickiest problem that you will face Marrying someone of a different culture – especially if your parents are very traditional!
