The Lebanese-American content creator wore two stunning dresses for her big day: a glittering Mimoza Kardiaj gown, and a lace mini-dress from our Wedded Week partner SI&EM Couture. Read more about the wedding below!
How They Met
The content creator and Wedded Week ambassador got married to the love of her life after a two-year engagement. In an exclusive interview with Wedded Wonderland, she shared the sweet story of how they met.
Towards the end of the pandemic, Nagam had wanted to visit Disneyland. She posted an open invite to Instagram, asking if anyone wanted to come along. Saleem then took her up on it, sparking a friendship that would soon blossom into a romance. Over a year later, he would propose!
A Royal Ball
Inspired by the famed glamor and romance of Italian events, Nagam infused her wedding with luxe details. Even the performers who preceded the bride’s entrance wore Renaissance-inspired ensembles!
The grand affair was held at the Republic Venue, an art deco spot along Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
The Spirit of the Middle East
The couple made it a point to incorporate Nagam’s Lebanese roots and Saleem’s Palestinian heritage into the celebration of their union. The pair officially wed two days prior in an intimate religious ceremony, surrounded only by their closest loved ones. Both the bride and groom’s immediate families had enjoyed a weekend of fellowship in a big villa, where they could bond before the grand wedding. Nagam expressed that she and Saleem are extremely family-oriented, which is why this intimate gathering was so special!
Come the day itself, both the bride and the groom made traditional grand entrances, soundtracked with meaningful Arabic songs.
The Gown
Nagam was a vision of luxury in a rhinestone gown by Mimoza Kadriaj. The designer’s catalog reflects her penchant for shapely, asymmetrical gowns with an undeniably Middle Eastern flair, an aesthetic that perfectly suited Nagam’s vivacious personality and exquisite taste.
The dual-textured gown featured a trumpet silhouette, a majestic overskirt, and an asymmetrical neckline. The left panel of the gown was covered in delicate beads and pearls, while the right panel was a pleated dream in classic silk. Together, both textures blended beautifully, like ice forming along limestone cliffs.
The beautiful bride donned a pearl-adorned veil, with the wedding date embroidered along the edge. She looked absolutely stunning!
Her second dress was a double-laced creation with a matching choker by SI&EMCouture, one of Wedded Wonderland’s Wedded Week partners. “I wanted to have lace in some aspect of my bridal looks, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted it for my main gown.” So they came up with a gown that incorporated both Lebanese and European influences. She had included pearls, and the choker to match. “She brought it to life,” Nagam said of the SI&EM designer’s work. “She nailed it!”
What it's like to be a Wedded Week Ambassador
After connecting with us through Wedded Week, Nagam had access to Wedded Wonderland’s diverse network of wedding professionals, including wedding content creators.
“The content creator is huge because I do content creation for a living. So in addition to your traditional photo and video [team], having that iPhone footage capturing the moments that traditional photographers and videographers don’t usually capture is very crucial for someone like me that does social media. That was awesome. She was able to capture family moments, and other organic moments that happened throughout the day,” Nagam said.
She also affirmed the help Wedded Wonderland played during her wedding planning phase!
“Wedded Wonderland is like a board of everything weddings,” she said. “If you want to get ideas of how to pose, photoshoots to do, decor aspects, and unique things from different cultures.”
“Wedded Wonderland is worldwide, and introduces everyone. That’s when I went on a scroll through the page, and saw that they had everything related to weddings. I like how they take it one step ahead, and have suppliers connected. It’s not just an inspo board—Wedded has services, and is a one-stop shop."

Unique Details We Loved
Nagam and Saleem’s wedding was not your usual cookie-cutter affair. Here are some bits that made the event even more special!
While it took place in Los Angeles where Nagam was based, it was a destination wedding for about 95% of the guests! They had loved ones fly in from Texas, Florida, Nevada, as well as other countries such as Egypt and Canada. It was certainly a reunion to celebrate!
Since Nagam was the last daughter of three to get wedded, she invited her sisters and mom up for a heartwarming dance. This is a sweet addition to the usual tradition of a father-daughter dance.
They decided to do away with table numbers so that no guests would feel like they were at the end of the list. Instead, they gave each table a themed name. How cute is that?
Their wedding cake was adorned with pearls, which matched Nagam’s bridal look!
Congratulations, Nagam and Saleem! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
