In preparation for her wedding to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis on 12 March 2023, Princess Iman bint Adbullah gathered her nearest and dearest for a traditional Henna night. The festivities were held at her family’s palace, where the space was decorated with bouquets of botanicals and candles, creating a magical ambiance.
Adorning a beautifully embroidered white gown by Reema Dahbour, Princess Iman paired the frock with the belt Queen Rania wore on her own wedding day.
Opting for a deep shade of red, Queen Rania wore a divine floor-length dress that split at the waist to reveal an underskirt dipped in soft pink – before being finished with dainty embroidered florals that bloomed at the hemline.
The event began with the ladies being served a variety of traditional Middle Eastern sweets and delicacies including Turkish delight, and Arabic coffee. Then the henna artistry began with guests lining up to have their hands adorned with intricate henna designs.
As the evening went on, a live choir filled the room with music as the guests danced and sang together, making memories that are sure to last a lifetime.
Princess Iman was beaming with happiness and excitement as she looked around at all of the people who had come to share in her joy.
Queen Rania, alongside a couple of guests shared a few words throughout the evening, before the pre-wedding festivity officially came to a close.
She went to Instagram to share the happy occasion, captioning the post, “So much love in one room! With friends and family at Iman’s Henna party yesterday”.
With the royal wedding only days away, we can’t wait to see what her day has in-store. To catch all the details, watch this space!
