A 30th birthday surprise, a handwritten letter and an intimate proposal at the Park Hyatt hotel made for the perfect morning for bride Pamela.
When it came to the wedding, the loving couple chose the scenic Royal Botanical Garden as their ceremony venue, to allow all of their international guests a glimpse of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Despite the rain and strong wind sweeping through the morning, when Pamela walked down the aisle to her groom, David, it all stopped, for a magical and unforgettable moment.
The colour palette chosen by the couple for the reception was white and navy, with touches of gold to honour Chinese traditions. Pamela and David also added a little bit of DIY, with place cards that were carefully written, cut and folded only three days before the wedding and a first dance that was made up by watching YouTube videos.
“We also had a game to test our compatibility. The MC and some of our guests asked us some questions, but I don’t think we did very well, so it was a good laugh for everyone.”
By the end of the night, every guest was up and dancing, enjoying the moment as they celebrated the beautiful couple.
Congratulations to Pamela and David!
