Flashing lights. Security detail. A city watching. She didn’t just wear bridal couture; she became the headline.

Fashion, performance, and cultural commentary came together in dramatic fashion as  Lé Lee Studio Bridal’s editorial shoot brought New York city to a standstill. Their canvas? The legendary steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Traditional runways, take note! Against the backdrop of one of the most iconic landmarks, Lé Lee Studio’s SS26 Finery Collection took centerstage. No longer just a bridal lookbook, the shoot was a cinematic public statement.

Attention-arresting fashion is a modern bride’s favorite genre, and this editorial did just that. It ran with a fearless vision – security details et al – to produce breathtaking art.

A Couture Moment without a Gala

The Met and fashion walk hand-in-hand, which is what makes this collection launch a spectacle worthy of its location. From the high-drama spectacle of the Met Gala to the timeless exhibitions housed within its hallowed halls, it’s a place where style is revered as art.

Influencers/models Jessie Norbury and Zoe McGrady wore the standout pieces from Lé Lee Studio’s SS26 Finery Collection, owning the museum steps and the streets of New York. Photographer duo Abi and Gon of Luxart Wedding Studio, who brought this vision to life, share, “At Lé Lee Studio, the vision was to showcase the new collection in a way that felt editorial but completely out of the ordinary for a bridal store. They wanted something that blended urban energy with old-money sophistication.

The
Lee Studio team—especially Madison, Lyndel, and Sebastien—along with the models Jessy and Zoe and the amazing glam squad, made the entire experience seamless. Everyone brought their own spark—ideas, style, and charisma—so the shoot not only flowed as planned, it also exceeded expectations.”

And exceed expectations it did! The result was more than a photoshoot. It was a reimagining of what bridal couture can look like when it’s taken out of the showroom.

Lé Lee Studio has built a reputation for pushing the envelope when it comes to traditional bridalwear and with this shoot, they’ve only elevated themselves further. Their latest collection celebrates beauty and aura. Each piece in the collection spells luxury, with names that feel like one’s own – Grace, Josie, Alice, Hannah, Harper, Fiona, Kylie, Madeline, Abigail, Ines, Chloe, Clara, Cassia, Wesley. From structured but romantic silhouettes to minimalist cuts and whisper-thin trains, there’s something for every bride who wishes to feel like the diva she is.

Altogether, these gowns speak to a bride who is unafraid to be seen.

The Met: Fashion's Most Iconic Stage

It’s no coincidence that this shoot took place at the Met. The museum represents an intersection of legacy and innovation. For designers, it is a shrine of inspiration. And for all of us who love high fashion, the Met Gala is a day we wait for to swoon over the best in luxe style and glam. May 5, 2025, can’t come sooner!
