Rhiannon and Jody’s modern love story began through Facebook and almost four years later Jody proposed in the most romantic way possible!
“We were in a hot air balloon in Palm Cove, he waited until we were up in the air and got down on one knee and the air balloon burnt off at the same time, I couldn’t hear much but once I figured out what he was doing I covered my face and just cried, he repeated himself and it was a yes from me!” Rhiannon excitedly told Wedded Wonderland.
Fast-forward to their relaxed, intimate wedding where they married under a super cool giant teepee – a truly unique option for this trendy couple. “I’ve always dreamed of getting married outside, and Jody was in church, so we found a priest who would marry us outside but still have a religious ceremony. It was beautiful and I’m so glad we could compromise on that.”
Reflecting back on the most memorable moment of the day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland walking back down the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife was a true stand out moment.
The rest of the day felt like a massive celebration with plenty of laughter and dancing as the couple and their close friends and family celebrated their love for one another.
