This Bride Honoured Her Late Father In The Most Heartfelt Way On Her Wedding

Natalia and Sebastian were walking through the ruins of Panama Viejo, and as they two getting their photo taken by undercover photographers, Sebastian got down on one knee and asked Natalia to marry him.

As the couple both live in Panama, this was the inspiration for their wedding and fused in their Colombian backgrounds with the food, traditional music and decorative elements throughout the wedding. The couple also share a special love for horses and Natalia symbolically honoured her late father in the most precious way.

When Natalia’s father passed away in Colombia, his hat was placed on the horse’s back, to symbolise the great horseman her father was. “I decided that when I got married, that would be the way my father would be present, especially at the moment taking me to the alter that is so important for every bride” explained Natalia.

And so, on her wedding day, she walked down the aisle with a horse wearing on its back her father’s hat and equipment. The horse bent its knee in reverence, a significant and emotional moment for everyone but particularly the bride.

The wedding was a celebration of culture, love and family as the couple danced the night away listening to cultural songs and embracing the company of their closest family and friends.

Congratulations to Natalia and Sebastian!
