It’s confirmed, the world’s most famous backside (sorry Kim!), Pippa Middleton is engaged to her millionaire hedge fund manager boyfriend James Matthews.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister was ‘completely surprised’ by the romantic proposal which happened on Saturday as the pair walked the peaks of the Lake District.

While James and Pippa stopped at the summit of these spectacular scenery, James got down on bended knee and popped the question.

It’s been less than a year since the couple started dating, but Pippa is said to be certain that he’s ‘the one’.

James had been planning the moment for a while and asked Pippa’s father for permission before popping the question.

James Matthews is the brother of celebrity lothario and star of reality TV show, Made in Chelsea, Spencer Matthews and both families have a ‘rags to riches story’ boasting humble origins.
