Here you go Fairies!

Apple Shape

Women of this body shape are usually rounder around the chest and stomach area without a defined waistline. Any style that will give the illusion of a waistline and A-line cut with a slight flare at the bottom is the ideal look. Dresses that feature drapes or pleating around the bust to chinch you in and gives a slimming effect. Side splits work amazing as the legs are usually slimmer than the upper body. Try and stay clear of mermaid or fitted dresses around the hip area as this will only accentuate your body shape instead of flattering it.

Pear Shape

Someone with a pear shape is identified with wide hips and a smaller upper body. The type of dress you go for really depends on how much wider the hips are compared to the rest of the body. If your hips are not too wide, a fitted simple style dress would look flattering. However, it your hips are a lot wider than your upper body, you can’t go wrong with an A-line dress. A dress with a defined waist whilst covering the hips is ideal. Off the shoulder dresses work absolutely beautifully, adding that elegant balance between the upper and lower body.

Inverted Triangle

Inverted triangle body types usually have a larger upper body and broad shoulders. Dresses with a slight flare at the bottom work beautifully on girls with this body shape. Dresses with straight straps and asymmetrical tops look incredible! Try and avoid fitted dresses, halter necks and off the shoulder styles as these will only accentuate the broadness of your shoulders as appose to making your upper body look smaller.

Rectangle Shape

Women who are a rectangle shape generally have a straight and slender figure. Depending on your bridesmaid’s waistline, mermaid style dresses are to avoided as they wouldn’t do much in flattering your figure. Dresses with draping around the hips and waist would create a waistline and add dimension to your figure.

Hourglass Figure

Ladies with an hourglass figure are the easiest to dress! But in saying that, choosing the wrong style could make you look bigger, so it’s a fine line. Choose a dress that highlights your waistline by opting for a figure-hugging dresses such as mermaid styles that will accentuate all your natural curves. Dress styles with a fitted top and flared bottom will flatter your silhouette elegantly.
