Every year, we are blessed with a definitive list of the most popular baby names and generally they aren’t many surprises. But nameberry has released its list of the 1,000 highest searched baby names of 2016 so far) and, we’ve got to say, some of them are outright weird.

Say goodbye to ‘John’ and ‘Jess’ and hello to names like Rain, Zenobia and Bathsheba (all girls) and Draven, Potter and Goku (for the boys).
