More than 500 Wedded Wonderland Fairies, celebrities, stylists and industry experts had the opportunity to get up close and personal and have a sneak peek what the 2016 brides will be wearing, courtesy of Australia’s top designers.
The boho-bride trend continues, but is recreated into a more luxurious and glamorous version of the ‘relaxed’ vibe that was so popular throughout 2014/15. The lacework is more exotic, using less of the 1950s vintage fabric that we’ve seen previously and there’s more use of sheer tulle to add an edge to the look!
The peekaboo cut-out trends (a la’ Beyonce at the 2015 Met Ball) is going nowhere with gowns combining traditional high necklines and long sleeves with unexpected splits, low backs and cut-outs everywhere!
