It appears that this year’s participants of The Bachelorette, have loads of history in showbiz! Multiple of Angie Kent‘s suitors were revealed to have a wealthy background of acting experience behind them!
Before appearing on The Bachelorette, Carlin Sterritt, who according to the show is a personal trainer, appeared in advertising campaigns and movies. However, ahead of The Bachelorette premiere at the start of October, Carlin erased ‘actor’ from his Instagram bio and deleted his Facebook fan page. He also removed his StarNow profile, where he advertised himself to casting agencies.
In recent years, Carlin he has starred in campaigns for menswear brand Tramps The Store and also appeared in short films like Red Zone, Divided and Graveyard Shift. Additionally, he has a lead role in the upcoming Australian drama Out of the Woods.
Carlin’s IMDB page reads: “Carlin is an actor auditioning for leading roles around the world. Carlin’s career took a bright turn after a guest role appearance on NBC’s pilot season of CAMP in 2013. Going forward to work on larger productions such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”
Another suitor, is former stripper Ciarran Stott, who also has an acting past, and lists himself as an ‘actor, extra and model’ on StarNow. Last week, Recently-emerged footage shows Ciarran performing on stage at gay nightclub Throb in Darwin.
Additionally, Jamie Doran is said to be searching for a future in television. According to NW Magazine, the firefighter told friends last year that he was ‘attending acting classes’ in Sydney.
Lastly, Matt Whyatt is a professional model, and was recently the face of Superdry’s latest collection in September. He also starred in the campaign alongside Love Island’s Shelby Mills, YouTuber Kristine Fernandez and West African-born Australian rapper iiiCONIC.
