When Em from @forloveandliving asked us to put forward a proposal for the gorgeous Kate & Matt I was ecstatic. The colour palette and moody vibe they were going for within the space at @thecalilehotel was going to be incredible. We don’t often have couples come to us for deep moody colour palettes as there is an assumption that we only work with muted tones, however as creatives we adore working with all colour. We embrace it and absolutely love the chance to play with tones. I had so many ideas for the floral component and couldn’t wait to get started on their proposal, which included having custom pieces made by Amey of @perfectpartyco which would add to the drama of each design. Working alongside both Kate and Em to bring to life the overall vision was truly such a blessing as there was a trust and sense of fun with Kate wanting to have blooms which were both unusual, artistic and moody. Kate works full time in the wedding industry and really trusted each of her vendors and the aesthetic they bring. Seeing Kate’s wedding come to life was pure overwhelming joy. The space looked incredible and the intricate detail from the stationary through to the chairs was breathtaking. Emma truly nailed Kate and Matt’s aesthetic and left their guests talking about it for days. We cannot wait to share more of this gorgeous wedding over the next couple of days and in the coming months. We hope you agree it was truly stunning 🖤 Stylist @forloveandliving Photographer @ephermeralcreative Venue @thecalilehotel #calileweddings
