Rafael Nadal has married longtime girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello in a grand Mallorca wedding! The wedding was attended by the former King and Queen of Spain, Juan Carlos and Sofia, as well as many other well-known guests.

The private ceremony was held at the La Fortaleza fortress in the northern part of Mallorca, to which all guests arrived to in a discreet manner.

Nadal took to Instagram to share a picture of the stunning setting amidst the sunset, before the wedding formalities occurred.

The guests included two of the tennis superstar’s uncles – former longtime coach Toni Nadal, and former player for FC Barcelona and Spain’s national soccer team, Miguel Angel Nadal. Other sports celebs such as Carlos Moya, Nadal’s current coach and winner of the 1998 French Open champion, David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez, also attended.

Perello’s wedding dress designer Rosa Clara confirmed on social media that her company was designing the gown, describing it as “an exquisitely clean-lined haute couture design”. The classic gown featured a high-neck, long-sleeve, lace bodice, and classic lengthy train.

The second gown was worn at the ceremony, and featured a halter neck design, low back and lacy bling!

The couple has been inseparable since their teen years, and have bee together for 14 years overall. We wish these sweethearts a lovely marriage!
