REAL WEDDING: SARAH AND AARON

Owner of her own bridesmaid label, stunning bride Sarah knows exactly how one dress can transform an entire occasion. The moment Sarah found her dream dress, her originally planned Southern New South Wales farm wedding was quickly transformed into an old New York glamour theme. And we must say, this dress is definitely not one that belongs in a farm wedding, but rather a more glitzy glamorous affair.

The sexy and sleek backless gown by bridal designer Galia Lahav was the perfect choice for the couple’s art deco inspired theme. Sarah’s pop of red lipstick complemented her gorgeous bouquet and she kept her accessories to a minimum, allowing the gown to speak for itself. Sarah’s lovely bridesmaids were dressed in gowns by Sarah’s own label, with each girl dressed in a different design, but maintaining a matching colour palette.

The ceremony took place in the Kincoppal, Rose Bay, with the newlyweds then joining their guests on a vintage ferry for drinks along Sydney Harbour. The ferry then docked at Walsh Bay, where the couple and their guests stepped off the ferry and walked down to their after party.

The amazing interiors of The Bar at the end of the Wharf at Pier 4 were brought to life with opulent red and deep pink florals by Jardine Botanic, and the stunning styling of She Designs. The styling included: velvet lounges, gold, gold and more gold, along with black and white feature table cloths. The bridal table was adorned with fairy lights so guests knew exactly where the stars of the show were sitting.

When asked how they felt about their special day, the couple said, ‘We couldn’t have asked, or even planned a better day. It was more than we ever expected.
