REAL WEDDING: PAIGE AND KEN

An enchanted forest fairytale.

Paige and Ken’s intimate rustic wedding took place at Polly’s Country Kitchen, one of the Gold Coast’s best kept secrets. The restaurant and wedding venue, located in a private and secluded National Park, was transformed into a whimsical wonderland.

Sweeping lawns, a surrounding rainforest and a cascading stream set the fairy tale backdrop for Paige and Ken’s intimate wedding ceremony and reception. Wedding planners, Sugar and Spice Events, created a spectacular outdoor reception under the branches of overhanging trees, inspired by a summer night’s dream.

The bride married her groom in a sweetheart lace gown by Luv Bridal, adding some extra glam with a pair of sparkling Jimmy Choo heels. The bridesmaids wore all white dresses and carried bouquets filled with baby’s breath, perfectly complementing the gorgeous bride.

The dreamy outdoor reception featured raw wooden tables, gold flare charger plates and incredible flowers from Stem Design. The bride provided empty jars with vintage floral tags for guests to fill at the lolly buffet, and pink linen napkins matched perfectly with the floral centrepieces.

The glorious table details were embellished with a cross shaped frame with tables positioned underneath, so that glass hanging holders dangled delicately overhead as guests dined. As the sun set, bright shades of blue, green and purple washed the trees with colour, and guests danced the night away under the stars.

The couple described their special day as ‘Warm, relaxed, intimate and cheerful’. We could lose ourselves for hours on end gazing at every last detail of this whimsical wedding. Enjoy!
