REAL WEDDING: LOUISE AND PAUL

Childhood sweethearts Louise and Paul married in a beautiful traditional ceremony at their local Catholic Church, and held their magical, vintage inspired reception in the picturesque ‘Banquet Room’, Curzon Hall.

The bride wore a beautiful, mermaid style lace embellished dress by Norma Bridal Couture, complementing the gown with a soft up do, natural makeup, custom Viktoria Novak headpiece and Jimmy Choo heels. The bridesmaids wore whimsical, apricot coloured dresses by London designer, Jarlo.

As the bride walked down the aisle towards her man, to a string quartet playing in the background, there was not a dry eye in the house. Following the ceremony, the couple headed to Centennial Park for photos and an intimate picnic lunch with the bridal party.

Before the reception took place, the couple posed for family photos, followed by canapés in the enchanted garden with the string quartet playing in the background. During the majestic reception, the mix of English and Croatian music had the guests on their feet all night, dancing the night away.

The colour theme of the wedding included the light, vintage colours of pale pinks and creams. The beautiful hanging forest design, by John Emmanuel over the sweetheart table, high floral centre pieces with touches of baby’s breath, vintage design cake, and the fun filled Polaroid photo backdrop all added to the rustic, vintage theme of the wedding.  A special sentimental touch was the display of old photos of the couple’s grandparents and parents wedding.

Overall, the couple described their wedding as a “beautiful, happy day.” The beautiful images from this couple’s special day are simply breathtaking!
