Elemental romance
While the occasion draws inspiration from the coastal aesthetic, it veers away from typical styles by leaning into the scenery’s natural beauty. The bride’s vision was achieving “heaven on earth” by channeling the four elements–Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.
From calming blue color palettes, lush florals and billowy fabrics, to fiery performances, there were plenty of subtle nods to this rich theme. All this was curated by events planner Giritaly, who specializes in Italian celebrations. Their expertise shines through in the masterful blending of culture and the couple’s personal preferences, creating a modern take on la dolce vita.

But first, Capri fun
The sophisticated aesthetic wasn’t the only thing that elevated these nuptials into luxury status–if anything, it’s the eventful four days where guests were treated to the full coastal experience.
An intimate sunset dinner initiated the festivities. On the grand terrace of La Cocumella Hotel in Sorrento, Aperol Spritzes and canapés were served amidst jubilant music by a live Neapolitan band. Lemons adorned white tables and Mediterranean canapés were served on elegant silverware.

The second day was no less fabulous. Everyone went on a boat tour around the island, followed by a relaxing excursion in Capri where they viewed the iconic Faraglioni rocks. To cap it all off, lunch was held at the famous Bagni Tiberio beach restaurant.
Much of the elegance had to do with keeping in theme–guests came dressed in bright Italian prints, matching Lena’s Dolce & Gabbana outfit and Alberto’s Franck Namani ensemble. Even the plates and menus came in the couple’s personal branding.

The big day
When it came to the wedding ceremony in the church of Santa Maria Assunta, all eyes were on the bride who looked ethereal in a custom dress by Monique Lhuillier. It featured delicate lace wrapped around a sweetheart bodice, cascading into a full skirt and train. The dreamy effect was amplified by the venue’s unmistakable historical grandeur.
After taking official photos overlooking the breathtaking seaside views, Lena and Alberto dived into their reception at Villa Angelina, a masterful synthesis of their elemental vision.

The affair was decorated like a garden party most naturally–there were floral canopies and arches, while the dinnerware came in blues and greens, echoing the ocean background. Meanwhile, high-end glamour was imbued via candlesticks and golden touches that evoked a European banquet. Another luxurious touch was the use of Ginori plates that embodied each table’s representative element.

All these colors came alive when the dancers appeared, first in fairy-like costumes and then in fiery frocks later in the evening. Truly, it was a feast for the senses, and guests couldn’t help but revel in its splendor.
A tranquil culmination
The celebration didn’t stop there. Instead of a next-day brunch, guests boarded a private boat and headed off on a relaxing trip around the Amalfi Coast. Lena looked ever so chic in a Jacquemus outfit while Alberto sported a Polo linen getup, staying true to their classic style. Throughout the journey, memories were reminisced and new ones were made as they basked in the beauty of the Italian landscape.

Although the sun set on their adventure, it opened a new chapter in the lives of the newlyweds–one as vibrant and joyful as the day they tied the knot.
