Laureen and Ali’s wedding was a fun, sophisticated affair!
The day began with a traditional Islamic wedding ceremony at the bride’s house, where the couple were surrounded by their closest family and friends, followed by their reception held at the Grand Royale.
“Our reception was truly everything we could have dreamed for and more. I had a vision in mind and the moment I walked through the doors of the Grand Royale, it came to life,” Laureen told Wedded Wonderland.
From the larger than life cake, to the fireworks, glamorous centrepieces, non-stop dancing and special guest performer, Faydee, this wedding definitely looked like an unforgettable night!
One of the most memorable moments of the night was Laureen’s younger brother’s speech. “My younger brother insisted on giving a speech. We agreed to it, preparing for the worst, as we all know siblings have the capability to embarrass you! To our surprise, his speech was the funniest and heart-warming speech I’ve ever heard. He engaged all our guests, it was beautiful and definitely one of the best moments of the night,” she told Wedded Wonderland. Super sweet, turns out younger siblings aren’t always out to embarrass you!
Overall, reflecting on their special day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland, “It was a day full of enjoyment, excitement, laughter and tears, it was an incredible day and we can still remember every detail as if it were yesterday.”
