Kasssandra and Peter met through the online dating service RSVP and almost 10 years later Peter surprised Kassandra with a Christmas Day proposal, during their holiday in Tokyo.
Describing the special moment, Kassandra told Wedded Wonderland, “We couldn’t get a Christmas tree for our room so Peter ended up drawing a Christmas tree across multiple A4 pages that he stuck on the wall and placed a single present under this drawing in our hotel room. On Christmas Eve he told me not to open it until he woke up in the morning. The present was in a shoe-sized box and when I opened it it revealed smaller boxes with a letter inside.
“When I saw the letter, I knew the moment had finally arrived! He then proposed and presented me with my beautiful engagement ring. It was the best Christmas ever!”
The couple’s fun-filled Gatsby themed wedding included a few different touches; a balloon release for the group shot, a champagne tower to open the reception and having their dog, Mollie, as the ring bearer. Adorable!
