Meredith and Anthony’s Wedding Day fell on a sunny spring day, perfectly fitting for the special celebration.
Their day began with a beautiful and intimate church ceremony, followed by traditional Lebanese drums welcoming them as Husband and Wife outside the church, before heading to Taronga Zoo for their photos with giraffes, elephants and the spectacular Sydney Harbour backdrop! The couple then joined their guests at their reception to celebrate the night away!
“Anthony and I entered to Lebanese drums and began the dancing for all to join in. From there it was a celebration with the jazz band creating a fun and chill atmosphere, as dinner, speeches and more dancing filled the rest of the night. One of the most unique parts of our wedding was the blend of traditional Lebanese wedding and a Western wedding. We even danced the dabke to jazz music!”
Reflecting back on the night, Meredith told Wedded Wonderland one of the highlights of the night was her Groom’s speech. “Anthony’s speech was the most beautiful grooms’ speech I’ve ever heard. He honoured our families, and friends, and brought everyone to tears. His words about our relationship, from our first meeting to the altar, brought me to tears. No one has ever said such beautiful things about me.”
