Real Wedding: A Royal-Worthy Destination Wedding in Lebanon!

The ruthless Harbour Bridge climb, has been relentlessly known for its ability to give you shakes in the knees – it’s not for the faint hearted! But Georgio decided that while his heart beat furiously increased, to get it pumping even more! Once he reached the top of the bridge alongside girlfriend Priscila, he kneeled to one knee and asked her to be his wife. The city lights and sunset beams, encouraged the perfected setting and she said “yes!”

Although the pair were born and raised in Australia, a shared connection to their home country Lebanon made the thought of a destination wedding irresistible. Prior to her destination wedding in Lebanon, Priscila took on a big chunk of her wedding planning in Sydney.

Dress rehearsals at Leah da Gloria, bridesmaid’s fittings and even the arrangement of favours (in the form of picture frames), all complimented the perfect balance of an Australian and Lebanese wedding.

“It was a perfect mix between an Australian wedding and a Lebanese wedding, and that’s exactly what we aimed for. A royal-like Lebanese wedding with a modern Australian-touch.”

The reception was all things extravagant and royal-worthy, complete with flags waving and fire crackers that tracked every step along their entrance. Priscila was sure to design a wedding fit for a queen as she instilled the perfect amount of sentiment and detail to each element of her day. From the contrasting floral designs, to the fire crackers that exploded from the ocean upon the cutting of the cake, she knew exactly what she wanted – something unique and memorable!
