Marrying on one of the hottest days on record, this Bride and Groom kept it cool with their beautiful modern black and white wedding, embellished with lush greenery.
As fate has it, Tayce and Anthony had attended the same primary school and had mutual family friends. However, they only formally met whilst Tayce was doing work experience at the TAFE Anthony had been attending. A few Facebook messages and a lunch date later, the two became inseparable.
Anthony’s proposal was classically romantic, a weekend away, a room filled with candles, rose petals and some champagne. “He is very romantic normally, I still hadn’t cottoned on that this was a proposal. It wasn’t until he asked to take a picture of me looking out the window and I turned to see he was on one knee…we were both it tears”.
And so the happy tears continued at their wedding, with a whole lot of laughter too! Pushing through a brutal summer heat wave, they celebrated their love surrounded by their friends and family.
“The colour theme we stuck with for the wedding was black, with hints of gold and natural floral arrangements of lots of greenery and white flowers”. The striking contrast between the elegant all black bridesmaid dresses and sleek black groomsmen suits, with Tayce’s beautiful Leah Da Gloria dress and Antony’s black slacks/ivory jacket was chic and modern.
“The funniest and most fun part of the day was definitely turning up to our location photo shoot where our amazing photographers had set up a picnic of McDonalds for us to eat, as we were running very late due to our limo breaking down on Mt Ousley in 47 Degree heat. We had so many laughs and hilarious photos of us scoffing McDonalds in our wedding clothes”.
